Per Martin Greaser, he died as a result of putting his head in a hay baylor
to check it, and the ram came down and crushed his head. I have a photo of
his tombstone which is a joint tombstone with his father & mother.

Per Catherine Dineen Greaser, when his father died, he came to their house
and had Mary Dineen go with him to a Church (Waltham) and John Patrick Dineen
and John Dineen was supposed to give verbal proof that Maurice was born &
raised Catholic. Mary was about 15 or 16 yrs at time... shortly after 1948,
maybe in 1952 when Maurice died.

At the time the Borgman booklet was published in August 1927, they had 6
children and resided in Howesville, WV. Her age was estimated from her age
given at the time her daughter Alice Louise was born (8-17-1924), she was 32
which means she was born abt 1892. Borgman Booklet listed her name only as
Katherine Farrell...in the FHC film she was listed as "Alice Katharin Farrell"
Death date is from funeral card.

Died at age 5, may have been tumor or childhood disease. Data is from Ruth's
sheet. Per my Dad, his mom had a lady in there helping her, the lady picked
Vernon up by arm and threw him in chair...after that she noticed a lump on
his side. She feels that's what ended up causing his death. Courthouse
records did list cause of death as tumor.
