Per Susan Gardiner's census info, both parents were born in Hannover.
Birthdate is a based on her age on 1870 census in from Susan's data. The name
Catherine is from Susan's info. Mary C. Borgman is the one that told me via
phone that Garrett Arns wife, and John Jarrett Henry Borgman's wife were
sisters....not substantiated yet (1999). Have photo of tombstone, very worn,
hardly legible. Says 'Wife of Garrett Arns" name not legible. Deathdate is
from tombstone, very hard to read.

weekend. Brother John Rankin & sister, Margaret, were in the car with him and
