According to Martin A. Greaser, John Greaser was the one who drove up to
their house to tell them that Willy (Martin's older brother) had just been
killed in an auto accident. John was hard of hearing, you had to scream into
horn up to his ear for him to hear. He asked Martin/Gertrude who were outside
playing to go get their dad (Martin was only 2 yrs, but clearly remembers the
incident). John then relayed to Julius (their father) that just down the road,
at the railroad tracks, Willy's car had rolled down the embankment.

living with his parents in Tunnelton, WV. I have a photo of his tombstone,
and it said he was a PVT, 132 Engr Combat BN, World War II. I assume he died
as a result of the war.
