Kingwood District, Father's residence was only listed as Preston County, WV.
Parents listed as John W. & Mary Jane Greaser. Filed in 1889. Based on photos
taken at St. Joseph's Cemetery, discovered his birthname. Per Fred Conley, Jr.
this son of theirs was deaf. Mary C. Borgman said their was a Schulte gene
that caused hearing impediments. His father was nearly deaf also.

Infantry. He was discharged on 26 Oct 1898 with the rank of Corporal at Fort
Roots, AR. He was elected as Dept. Commander of the USA War Veterans in
1929-1930 of Louisana.
