Aug '99. His tombstone says, "Son of F & C Guth". Info from Preston County
Courthouse Birth Records list his birthdate as 26 Jun 1885, born to Fertenand
& Catharine Guth.

Per Catherine Dineen, she worked in Boston & came there when Grover Cleveland
was Pres. (1882or1892). She worked for families,last family being in Salem, MA
where Catherine visited her. She gave Catherine about 30 spoons & said a rela-
tive from England brought them over here (I suspect it was Mary Morris's fam).
She was still living in early 1940's & probably died in MA. Catherine doesn't
know if her body was brought back to Pugwash area or not. Cont'd in file.
