If you look straight above the N in Nova Scotia above you will see Antigonish.  Travel directly north from Antigonish and you will find Arisaig.   My  maternal ancestor, John Gillis was a pioneer to this area, that's why he is referred to as John "Pioneer" Gillis.  The early pioneers to this area named it Arisaig since it looked like their homeland in Arisaig, Scotland.
