Malagash & Wallace, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia

My GGG-Grandparents, Donald and Isabella (McDonald) McDonald, that emigrated from Tarbat Parish in County Ross & Cromarty, Scotland resided in Malagash, Nova Scotia area. My mother always told me that her "Gram" (Isabella McDonald) spoke about Pugwash, and some relatives named Wallace.  Well, on my journey up the tree limbs, I discovered Isabella's family living in a town called Wallace, which is nearby to Pugwash, Cumberland County.

On the map above, Malagash is located just below "Bay Verte" which is at the top right corner of the map.  As you can see, Wallace is not far from Malagash. Wallace is where Isabella's was born and where her family lived.  

An interesting side note: Isabella & John Angus Gillis, my Great Grandparents were married in 1876 in Londonderry, Colchester County.  If you look just above the "O" in Colchester above you will see Londonderry.
