You can spot Mount Savage, MD just below the "L & V" in Pennsylvania below at the top of the map.  Oldtown, MD is within a few miles of Mt. Savage, but I was unable to locate it on this map.  Edward Richards, my paternal G-Grandfather was born in Mt. Savage, in 1851. See the census data for information on the family while in MD.
