Paul A.
Greaser, 87, of Kingwood, died, Wednesday, June 12, 1991 at his home.
He was born June 22, 1903 in Howesville. A son of the late Julius
and Lucy Richards Greaser.
He was a retired coal miner & farmer. He was a member of the
St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus Council #9518, and the Holy Name
Society. He was an usher at St. Joseph for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Evelena Conley Greaser. Two brothers,
Martin & Elmer both of Niagara Falls, NY. Three sisters, Agnes Smith of Niagara
Falls, NY, Gertrude Griffith & Rita Fletcher both of Kingwood. Several nieces
& nephews. He was proceeded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

MEDINA, Ohio - Ella H. Greaser,
80, of Medina, formerly of the Town of Niagara and Lewiston, NY died Tuesday (July 18,
1989) in Medina Community Hospital. Born in Kenosha, Wisc., she lived in the Town of
Niagara for 43 years and in Lewiston for three years. She worked for the former
Kimberly Clark Co., Niagara Falls for many years. She was a member of St. Leos Roman
Catholic Church, Town of Niagara, a member of the Mothers Guild of St. Teresas
Roman Catholic Church, Niagara Falls, and a member of the County Extension Seniors.
She was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Mary (Miklitsch) Hermann and widow of Leo
S. Greaser, who died May 6, 1981. Mrs. Greaser is survived by daughters, Joyce
Lombardi of Lewiston, Jane Knapp of Ransomville, Carol Koppmann of Medina, and 14
grandchildren. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hardison
Funeral Home, North Fourth and Ridge Streets, Lewiston. A prayer service will be
held at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at 9:15 a.m. at St. Leos
Roman Catholic Church, 2748 Military Road, Town of Niagara. Burial will be at the Gate of
Heaven Cemetery, Town of Lewiston, NY. Contributions to Holy Martyrs Church
Building Fund, 3100 South Weymouth Road, Medina, OH 44256 are acceptable as tribute.

Greaser Smith, 84, of Niagara Falls, NY died Saturday, November 16, 1991, in Kenmore Mercy
Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
She was born in Howesville, a daughter of the late Julius and Lucy
Greaser.
Survivors include one daughter, Sister Mary Joel of Kenmore, NY; two
nieces, Mrs. Karen Dow Foster, OH and Mrs. Mary Agnes Dow Harwas of North Tonawanda, NY
and a nephew Michael Dow of Niagara Falls, whom she raised; two brothers, Martin &
Elmer Greaser of Niagara Falls and two sisters, Gertrude Griffith and Rita Fletcher of
Kingwood.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Joseph Schimscheiner in 1948
and George Smith in 1972 and by six brothers & two sisters.
A mass of Christian burial was conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November
19 at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Niagara Falls, by Father Francis Shimscheiner, a
nephew. Interment was at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston, NY.

Hazel
Greaser, 83, of Cameron Health Care, formerly of Howesville and Pittsburgh, died Saturday,
Dec. 14, 1996, in Cameron.
She was born Dec. 8, 1913, in Howesville, daughter of the late
Clemens A. and Clara Rickelman Greaser (Clemens was a brother to Julius Greaser).
She is survived by six nephews, Robert Greaser of Waco, Texas,
Vincent Greaser, of Sheboygan, Wis., John Greaser, of Springfield, VA, Nelson & Don
Temple, both of Steubenville, OH, and Ronald Temple, of Uniontown, PA; and three nieces,
Evelyn Myers, of Louisville, KY, Dorothy DeBerry, of Fairborn, OH and Donna J. Temple
McConkey, of Wheeling.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was
preceded in death by four brothers, Leonard, Joseph, Howard and Vincent Greaser; two
sisters, Teresa Greaser and Genevieve Temple; and a nephew, Charles Greaser.
Friends may call at Browning Funeral Home, Kingwood, from 1-9p.m.
Tuesday, with a Christian Wake service at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St.
Sebastian Catholic Church, Kingwood, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18,
with the Rev. Jerome McKenna, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic
Church Cemetery, Howesville.

NIAGARA FALLS - Mrs. Agnes G.
Shimscheiner, 61 of 6127 North Whitham Drive, died Thursday (Oct 25, 1973), in the
Cleveland Clinic after a long illness.
She was a lifelong resident of this city and a member of the Altar and Rosary
Society of St. Leo's Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the
Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Her husband, Frank J. Shimscheiner, died in 1971.
She is survived by a son, the Rev. Francis M. Shimscheiner, OSFS, of
Lockport, a member of the faculty at DeSales Catholic High School; her mother, Mrs. Leo
(Anna) Murphy, this city; a brother, Michael J. Murphy of Akron, Ohio; six sisters, Mrs.
Albert (Veran) Touchette of Thurmont, MD, Mrs. Clinton (Catherine) Kilmer; Mrs. Harry
(Helen) Alderman; Mrs. Edwin (Joan) Martin, and Mrs. Robert (Jean) Swartz, all of this
city and Mrs. Howard (Theresa) Sitzer of Kent, NY.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 9:30am at the Otto Redanz Funeral
Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Leo's Church.
Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Personal Note: Agnes's husband Frank Shimscheiner, was
a brother to Joe Shimscheiner (husband of L. Agnes Greaser, my Aunt). Although there was
no direct relationship with Agnes & Frank Shimscheiner, they spent a lot of time at
