Garret Borgman decd Will?
I Garret Borgman of the Township of Kingwood, in the County of Preston and State of West Va do make this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows to wit:
First, I give and bequeath unto my son Clemence B. Borgman all my estate both Personal and real upon the following Conditions Viz:
First, That he shall maintain and provide for myself and wife during our lives and pay our funeral expenses.
Secondly That the said Clemence B. Borgman shall pay John G. H. Borgman the sum of One Hundred Dollars, Provided, that he does not have to pay a debt that he is now Security? For and if he pays the said debt the amount so paid as said security for said J. G. H. Borgman shall be deducted from the one Hundred dollars as above.
Third He shall pay Mary Greaser, One Hundred and Fifty dollars.
Fourth, He shall pay Sarah Lynch one Hundred and Seventy five Dollars and one good Bed at the death of her Mother.
Fifth, The said Clemence B. Borghman shall pay Julia A. Borgman, One Hundred and Seventy five Dollars, One Cow & Bed at the time of her marriage.
The above payments to be made as follows, Viz: the payment to John G. H. Borgman to be made one year after my death To Mary Greaser at the end of two years and To Sarah Lynch at the end of Three years and To Julia A. Borgman at the end of Four years after my death said payments shall not bear interest.

County of Preston ? Be it remembered that on the 3rd day of May, 1872, before the undersigned Recorder of said County in his office were had among other the following proceedings, to wit:
The last will & Testament of Garret Borgman deceased was this day
produced by Clemmens B. Borgman the Executor therein named and offered for probate, and
thereupon came Joseph M. Goodwin and John W. Cazad the subscribing witnesses thereto who
being duly sworn disposed each as follows, to wit: That the said testator signed the said
will in their presence, and that they subscribed the same as witnesses in his presence and
at his request and in the presence also of each other and that at the time of making and
subscribing the said will as aforesaid the said Testator was to the best of their
apprehension of sound mind, and no cause being shown to the Contrary, it is therefore
ordered that the said will be admitted to record, whereupon, On motion of the said
Executor who made oath according to law and with George J. Deaker on approved surety,
entered into and acknowledged a legal bond in the penalty of Thirteen hundred dollars, it
is ordered that a certificate be granted the said Executor for obtaining probate of said
deed in due form.
